We have studied and searched out the best labrador retrievers who we can rely on when filming hunts for The Fowl Life. Our team of Fowl Life Retrievers are highly tuned gun dogs trained by the one and only Brad at Mossy Pond Retrievers (MPR). MPR is focused on raising the best quality Sporting Dogs. Axl
Black Labrador Retriever
Axl is a handsome mid sized male that boast a strong pedigree. His Sire and Dam both achieved Grand Hunting Retriever Champion and Master Hunter titles. Axl himself has received both his Master Hunter title and his Hunting Retriever Champion title. These genetics and the skills proven in the hunt test game have carried on with Axl. He has traveled around the United States with Chad Belding and the Fowl Life hunting in many different scenarios and for many types of birds. Axl has a happy demeanor and a great desire to hunt and please.
Axl is proudly offered at stud to approved females for natural or artificial inseminaton breedings. Frozen semen is also available. Please notify us for more information regarding price and availability.

About The Kennel / Training Facility
We are excited to have Mossy Pond Retrievers as the partner kennel for The Fowl Life Hunting Dog Breeding Program. Mossy Pond Retrievers is based out of Southeast Georgia and is owned and operated by Brad Arington. Mossy Pond has 130 dogs in training with 18 employees. Mossy Pond specializes in obedience, gun dog, and hunt test training. They compete all across the country in AKC, UKC, and SRS registered events. Mossy Pond Retrievers is an Orvis endorsed training facility that has built sponsorships with Eukanuba Brand Pet Foods, Banded, Avery Outdoors, Dogtra, Gunner Kennels, and Edge Boats.

We hunt and work in harsh conditions and rely on our duck dogs to perform under these conditions.
